Kimberly Wick

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a Master of Art degree in Clinical Psychology and an MBA degree. I am former adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University in the Graduate School of Psychology.

Through years of my own therapy (both individual and family), I became passionate about the process of self-growth, discovering how my own behaviors were creating patterns in my life, landing me in similar situations with different storylines. It was during my experiences with family addiction/mental health that I learned to take contrary action, setting boundaries with loved ones from a place of clarity versus fear.  I noticed positive changes taking place not only in my relationships with loved ones but also in my relationship with myself.

Today, after being in the trenches with family addiction/mental health and having experienced the unfortunate loss of loved ones, I am passionate about helping others through their challenging times, helping them gain insight and clarity to take the next steps.

Lyle Wick Sparks

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADC). I am co-owner of Bridge The Gap, a therapeutic mentoring company, and I have an extensive work history with treatment centers.

My personal journey in recovery, both as an adult child of and my own addiction, equips me with the rare ability to engage with clinical savvy and distinct empathy in the way I support family members through their recovery process. The unique perspective I gained from overcoming my own seemingly insurmountable obstacles, paired with my educational and professional merit, allow me to create a space for my clients to feel supported and safe.

It has become my passion to help individuals and families who are struggling with their loved one’s addiction and mental health issues to find their own personal empowerment thru education and insight.
